1. Enjoy a meal with music

2. Experience The channon craft market

The Channon Craft Market is a beloved and iconic event held in The Channon, a small village located about 20 minutes from Lismore.

 

Known for its vibrant atmosphere and strong sense of community, this market is a must-visit to experience the unique culture of the area. Look out for the colourful rainbow chai tent and enjoy one of the best chai’s in the region!

3. be charmed in clunes

The perfect place to stop on route to Lismore from Byron Bay or the coast. Clunes is one of those special villages that oozes style and charm.

 

The Clunes Store and Cafe in the heart of the village is a great place to stop and enjoy a coffee and something to eat. 

 

You’ll find local produce and gifts in the general store, an excellent cellars selling local wines – yes local wines!! vineyard and cellar door opening soon.

4. visit god's country

Looking for a peaceful place to ponder, or a pretty place to picnic?

 

The Bexhill Open Air Cathedral is a unique location to visit, and it just happens to be across the road from the Bexhill General Store that sells everything you could want, including beverages.

 

To tempt you even further, Dhezi Deli is right next door, a cheese lovers paradise. Ask Suzanne to put together a cheese plate or picnic for you to enjoy at the cathedral. Amen

5. baked to brilliance in modanville

Blink and you will miss it! this gem of a bakery in the small village of Modanville is a local best kept secret.

 

Open 7 days, they make all their pies, cakes and slices, sour dough breads all on site.

 

Annie’s Country Bakery is famous for its extensive pie menu with daily specials, and Vietnamese banh mi rolls. This is certainly not your average bakery. Serving great coffee and local goodies like farm fresh honey.

 

A destination in its own right or a great stop over on the way to Rocky Creek Dam or nearby national parks. Their outdoor garden overlooks the stunning Corndale Valley.
