North Coast Regional Tourism Awards Now Open
Lismore businesses are encouraged to enter this year’s awards as a way of getting noticed, raising your profile and tapping into new customers.
If you or your business are leading the way in innovation, visitor experience, or sustainability, this is your chance to be acknowledged. With many categories in this year’s awards, there are opportunities for accommodation operators, tour operators, new businesses, festivals and events, breweries, transport, cultural and ecotourism and so much more.

SHOP LOCAL CAMPAIGNS
Two shop local campaigns to support Lismore Local Government Area (LGA) businesses will launch end of March and run until Mother’s Day in May.
The first campaign ‘Be a local legend for Lismore’ is in response to recent weather events and the loss of trading experienced by local businesses. It focusses on Lismore being full of local legends, referring to the strength of our business community and their hard work. The campaign invites Northern Rivers locals to come for the shopping, come for the dining and come say hello – and in doing so, it makes them a local legend too! (Late March to mid- April, promoted through online media channels throughout the Northern Rivers region.
The second campaign is the ‘Mother’s Day Giveaway’ Shop Local campaign, promoting retail, dining and experiences in the Lismore LGA.
The campaign will encourage shopping for mum in businesses across the Lismore LGA, for a chance to win one of multiple packages worth $300. (Early April to mid-May, promoted through online media channels in Lismore and neighbouring LGAs)
