This pretty little village is set in the foothills of the Nightcap Ranges and is home to Australia’s oldest art and craft market, The Channon Craft Market, adding to its charm.

On the banks of Terania Creek stands The Channon Tavern, housed in an old butter factory. This family friendly pub features a jungle gym, a spacious picnic area, verandah seating and cozy couches, where you can enjoy many classic pub favourites.

The Channon General Store, nearby, offers plenty of treats for a picnic in the national park. Travel 15 kilometres to reach the World Heritage-Listed Nightcap National Park and embark on a nature adventure to Protesters Falls.
